The Finance & Accounting Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s financial accounting activities. This position is in charged in developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and statements. This role addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of finance & accounting activities including general ledger preparation, reporting (financial, compliance, regulatory, tax, year-end audit preparation), and the support of budget and forecast activities.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial accounting, reporting (management and statutory reports), month end closing process, reconciliation and consolidation
• Manage daily accounting activities to ensure compliance, accuracy and completeness of accounting records, transactions and reports
• Propose and review improvements in accounting business processes and procedures to drive the continuous improvement
• Leads the tax reporting and annual return filing, and ensures no compliance exposure
• Reports and monitors Capital Expenditures and ensures the integrity of fixed assets of the companies
• Co-ordinate internal & external annual financial audit
• Being supervisor of Product / Production Costing function, works with related functions on the New Product Development and Business case scenario
• Provides trainings to the finance/operational teams as assigned
• Support budget and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with other departments in identifying and resolving accounting issues

Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or Professional Accounting Qualifications
• Preferably with at least 5 years of working experience in senior position at finance, accounting, tax, and another related fields 
• Solid understanding in accounting and financial standards.
• Qualified accountant (CPA / CMA or equivalent) is preferred
• Computer literate (i.e. MS Word, Excel and Power Point)
• Experience using ERP System
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership skills 
• Critical thinker, problem-solving skills and details oriented
• High level of ethics and integrity
