A Day in the Life

The Field Sales Supervisor will be responsible for achieving sales revenue and market share targets by promoting, selling, and servicing Medtronic products. This role will be expected to service existing customer and develop new business to achieve targeted business growth, assist in the development and building up of the competence of the sales force with regards to both product knowledge and selling skills, in order to better penetrate the market, and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Plans, directs, and monitors the activities of a sales team within a specified region/district/geography to achieve established sales targets.
• Develops and/or implements business strategies for existing and potential accounts.
• Manages the day-to-day activities of a sales team in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy for an assigned region/district/geography.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with all key account personnel and relevant functions in order to support selling, market development, service efforts and clinical programs.
• Identifies opportunities and develops new programs to meet the organization’s sales plans to increase market share.

Must Have

• Bachelor degree in Medical/Biomedical/Science or Business Management
• Minimum five 5 years of relevant sales experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience

Your Profile:

• Prior experience working with Orthopedic or Neurosurgeon
• Expert understanding of internal workings of hospitals labs/ theatres / departments / key influencers
• The ability to manage through influence to drive positive outcomes
• Provide leadership thorough effective communication, vision, active coaching and development of people
• Strong strategic focus and ability to identify business priorities
