• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting. Having certifications like Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant, or equivalent qualifications is a distinct advantage.
• Candidate should possess 2-3 years of experience as a Financial Accounting and Tax (FAT) Manager. They should have managed a team of more than 4 members and reported directly to Directors or Vice Presidents.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, and tax roles is essential. Additionally, prior experience in overseeing a company’s statutory financial audit or previous employment at top-tier public accounting firms is highly desirable.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a background in manufacturing and a demonstrated history of driving system and process improvements, backed by measurable impacts.
• Proficiency in SAP is expected.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting is a must.
• The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to translate intricate financial data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, people management, and project management is required.
• Proven success in working effectively with cross-functional teams and collaborating seamlessly with senior management is highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, coupled with a customer-centric approach, are vital.

What a day at work for you will look like

• Ensure the periodic closure of books of accounts and meticulously prepare Group Consolidated Financial Statements. Maintain precise provisioning and uphold compliance with accounting standards.
• Take charge of the company’s taxation sphere, encompassing reporting, calculations, and resolution of tax matters. This includes overseeing taxes on local and import transactions, devising tax planning strategies, and implementing tax structuring.
• Conduct monthly analytical reviews to assess company performance and consistently furnish comprehensive management reports to the Board.
• Play a pivotal role in achieving compliance across all statutory obligations, encompassing external audits, tax payments, and filings, among others.
• Lead the compliance process, conducting business process evaluations, monitoring open audit issues, and executing quarterly and annual SOX audit testing.
• Collaborate closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) team on budgeting, treasury management, forecasts, and other strategic initiatives.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements aimed at strengthening internal controls, enhancing the efficiency of financial reporting, and optimizing financial operations.
• Offer valuable insights into the accounting implications of current practices, new marketing strategies, and innovative business ventures.
• Assume a leadership role in nurturing and developing team members, aligning their growth with the Company’s overarching goals and objectives.
