 **Job Summary**:
The Factory Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the factory floor, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves supervising a team, maintaining safety standards, meeting production targets, and ensuring the quality of the products. The Factory Lead serves as the liaison between production staff and management, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving on the factory flo**Key Responsibilities**:

1. **Supervision & Leadership**:
  – Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production workers.
  – Delegate tasks to ensure efficient production workflows.
  – Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members.
  – Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance of team members.

2. **Production Oversight**:
  – Ensure production schedules are met by coordinating resources and workflows.
  – Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
  – Quickly resolve issues that may cause production delays or stoppages.
  – Ensure products meet quality standards and company specifications.

3. **Safety & Compliance**:
  – Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  – Conduct safety audits and inspections regularly to maintain a safe working environment.
  – Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety protocols.
  – Report and document incidents or accidents, and implement corrective actions.

4. **Quality Control**:
  – Monitor the production process to ensure product quality and consistency.
  – Identify areas for improvement in production and quality processes.
  – Work with the quality assurance team to implement corrective measures when needed.

5. **Communication & Reporting**:
  – Act as the point of contact between factory workers and management.
  – Maintain clear communication with the Operations/Plant Manager on production status.
  – Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

6. **Training & Development**:
  – Train new team members on equipment operation, safety protocols, and production standards.
  – Foster a continuous improvement mindset among the team.

7. **Inventory & Resource Management**:
  – Monitor and manage raw materials, components, and finished product inventories.
  – Collaborate with the warehouse or supply chain team to ensure timely availability of resources.
  – Suggest improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

– **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing/industrial production is preferred.
– **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
– **Skills**:
  – Strong leadership and team management skills.
  – Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  – Knowledge of production processes and equipment.
  – Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  – Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  – Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems).
