Requirements:

• Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, trans disciplinary and decision-making skills.
• Expected to travel occasionally to project locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• At least 5 years’ experience in leading a team.
• Proven experience in facilities management, including maintenance, operations, and budget management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in facility management software, computer-aided design (CAD) software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Description:

• Responsible for acting as a technical advisor to provide problem-solving consultations and engineering expertise for engineering projects.
• Maintains oversight on all operations and maintenance plans and schedules and ensures alignment to organisational strategy. 
• Manages a team of senior engineers/technicians and ensures efficient business operations.
• Interacts proactively with various stakeholders and takes lead when resolving issues and is able to communicate information in a clear and concise manner.
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of all facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the proper functioning of all facilities and equipment.
• Develop and manage facility budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and implement appropriate measures.
• Optimize space allocation, oversee office relocations, and coordinate renovations or remodeling projects.
• Develop and implement sustainable practices and energy-saving measures to minimize environmental impact.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure readiness for emergencies or crises.
• Lead and manage a team of facilities staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Collaborate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and senior management to address facilities-related needs and ensure effective communication
