What you’ll do

We are looking for Senior HSSE Engineer to join our team in Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

·        Provides Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project management and their teams with the necessary service relative to Health, Safety and Environmental activities and provides guidance to promote an effective HSE programs.

·        The position supports all project related initiatives and individuals in an effort to eliminate hazards in the workplace that could cause property damage, injury, illness or harm to the environment.

·        Report operationally to the Project/Construction Manager on all HSE program and operational matters. Typically assigned to support mid to large projects.

What you’ll have

·        University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

·        Typically 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry, and 4 years of experience as Senior HSSE Engineer

·        Able to promote the culture of safety, security and environmental responsibility within project office location, fostering open communication about HSSE concerns, recognizing and rewarding good HSSE practices and campaign.

·        Holder of the certification issued by the competent entity for the promotion of health, safety, security, and environmental is additional value.

·        Has experience to implement and maintain HSSE programs, standards and policies within the project.

·        Has capability to conduct or participate in detailed risk assessments and hazard analyses, Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

·        Able to support or lead investigations into HSSE incidents and near-misses, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions within the project.

·        Able to monitor compliance with HSSE regulations and standards, conducting audits and inspections as necessary.

·        Has experience to develop initiatives aimed at minimizing the environmental impact, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainability in engineering practices, and promote eco-friendly practices within project location to minimize the environmental footprint.

·        Has experience to develop, review and maintain HSSE documentation, including risk assessments, safety plans, and regulatory compliance reports.

·        Able to perform emergency response plans, including the training requirement of the emergency response plans teams to respond effectively to emergencies such as fires, natural disasters or medical emergencies, ensuring that emergency response teams requirement are adequate for potential incidents.

·        Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HSSE practices, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency.
