About the role

We are seeking an experienced Export Import Staff to join our dynamic team at PT NX Lemo Indonesia Logistik. As a full-time employee based in Sidoarjo, East Java, you will play a crucial role in our import/export and customs operations, supporting the company’s strategic objectives within the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry.

What you’ll be doing

1. Coordinate and manage the import and export processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant customs regulations and procedures.

2. Prepare and process all necessary documentation for import and export activities, such as shipping manifests, customs declarations, invoices, and other required forms.

3. Create shipping manifests accurately for all outbound and inbound activities.

4. Prepare PIB (Pemberitahuan Impor Barang) and ensure all data is compliant with applicable customs regulations.

5. Handle customs clearance processes including submission, follow-up, and finalization.

6. Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders.

7. Monitor Red Line (Merah) process, coordinate with customs, and ensure fast resolution of issues.

8. Coordinate processes related to Post-border requirements, including document submissions and regulatory compliance.

9. Understand and manage procedures related to Lartas (regulated goods) and Non-Lartas including permit validation.

10. Handle coordination for Karantina (Quarantine) processes where applicable.

11. Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and supply chain partners to support smooth cargo flow.

12. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during import/export activities.

13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all import and export transactions.

14. Assist in process improvements to enhance the efficiency of import/export operations.

What we’re looking for

1. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in export import or customs-related roles (preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics).

2. Strong understanding of customs regulations, procedures, and documentation—including PIB, manifest, post-border, Lartas/Non-Lartas, Red Line monitoring, Customs Clearance, and Karantina processes.

3. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

4. Proficiency in using related software and systems (tracking, reporting, and documentation).

5. High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.

6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process gaps and propose improvements.

7. Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
