The EVP Retail Banking role is a high-level leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving the growth and profitability of the retail banking division. The incumbent will be specifically focused on managing and expanding the unsecured loan and motor vehicle loan portfolios, developing effective strategies, and ensuring excellent customer service to achieve business objectives.

• Develop a comprehensive business strategy for the retail banking division, specifically targeting the unsecured loan and motor vehicle loan segments. Set clear and ambitious goals for business growth, market share, and profitability.
• Collaborate with product development teams to create innovative and competitive loan products that meet the needs of customers seeking unsecured loans and motor vehicle financing. Continuously evaluate and enhance existing products to maintain a competitive edge.
• Oversee the performance and risk management of the unsecured loan and motor vehicle loan portfolios. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), delinquency rates, and credit quality to ensure a healthy and sustainable loan portfolio.
• Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase market penetration. Establish strong relationships with dealerships, auto manufacturers, and other strategic partners to drive loan origination volume.
• Implement customer-centric practices and service standards to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the loan application and approval process.
• Work closely with credit risk management teams to develop and maintain sound underwriting standards and credit policies for unsecured and motor vehicle loans. Monitor and mitigate credit risks effectively.
• Ensure that all retail banking activities related to unsecured loans and motor vehicle loans comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Set financial targets and budgets for the retail banking division and monitor financial performance against these targets. Take necessary actions to achieve profitability and revenue goals.
• Lead and motivate a team of retail banking professionals, including loan officers, sales representatives, credit analysts, and support staff. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
• Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitors’ activities in the unsecured loan and motor vehicle loan segments. Utilize this information to make data-driven decisions and seize market opportunities.

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in retail banking, with a focus on unsecured loans and motor vehicle financing.
• Proven track record of success in driving business growth and profitability in the retail banking sector.
• Strong understanding of credit risk management, underwriting principles, and regulatory compliance in the consumer lending space.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
• Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential for effective communication.
