To carry out field revegetation program in disturbance area, maintain erosion damages and vegetation collection, propagation and tree planting related with PTAMNT environmental policy and procedure.

Main Responsibility

• Perform general environmental tasks, safety requirements, and common technicians’ duties to all Environmental Reclamation Technician positions identified in the Reclamation Job Chart.

• Perform land revegetation program (field revegetation installation, repair erosion damages and hydro seeding operation, tree planting, vegetation collection).

• Perform brass shack operation (brass card preparation maintains inventory and assist geotechnical apply nuclear testing and soil salvages.

• Perform seed collection and processing involved (labelling, packaging.and updating data trucking).

• Operates and maintains irrigation program control system and equipment operation.

• Perform Nursery beds maintenance (seed, cutting and propagate plant material)

• Perform Germination house and seedling beds activities included irrigation system, poly bags and trays, applying herbicides, fertilizer and growing progress monitor.

• ·Perform specialist project activities, involving revegetation monitoring area, compost operating and reclamation experiment, document and record data collection.

• Perform revegetation material mobilizing and nursery seedling inventories (manual data record) plan, determine, supply and tracking material status updating.

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent with experiences in environmental reclamation techniques.

• Experienced in conducting multiple media environmental sampling and monitoring or equivalent experience obtained during the pursuit of post-graduate college degree.

• Be able to perform general environmental and safety-related tasks following established reclamation procedures and standards.

• Be able to carry out land revegetation activities, including hydroseeding, erosion repair, tree planting, and vegetation collection.

• Be able to conduct brass shack operations, prepare brass cards, maintain inventory, and support geotechnical nuclear testing and soil salvaging activities.

• Be able to collect, label, package, and process seeds, ensuring accurate data tracking and documentation.

• Be able to operate and maintain irrigation systems and related control equipment effectively.

• Be able to maintain nursery beds, including seeding, cutting, and propagating various plant species.

• Be able to perform germination house and seedling bed operations, apply herbicides and fertilizers safely, and monitor seedling growth progress.

• Be able to carry out specialist reclamation projects, including revegetation monitoring, composting, and reclamation experiments, and record technical data accurately.

• Be able to manage revegetation materials and nursery seedling inventories, plan and update supply tracking, and ensure material readiness for reclamation activities.

• Be able to follow supervisor directions and complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
