(1) Factory equipment investment review and progress management

(2) Review and progress management of new/extended structures

(3) Structure maintenance and preventive maintenance

(4) Utility facility purchase review and maintenance

(5) Safety inspection and inspection of utility facilities and production facilities

(6) Handling issues related to laws enacted, such as firefighting, hazardous materials, environment, electricity, elevators, energy, city gas, and high-pressure gas

(7) Conducting government affairs for other business scopes

* Preference is given to those with pharmaceutical factory experience.

* Recruitment of Koreans or Indonesians who speak English well

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead engineers, scientist and technicians, who design machinery, plan and develop civil project, and oversee production and quality control
• Direct and coordinate production, operations, quality assurance, testing, or maintenance in industrial plants
• Oversee the research and development of new products and procedures
• Hire, train, and mentor other engineers and supporting staff
• Write performance reviews and solve internal issues
• Discuss and lay out project specifications
• Make detailed plans to accomplish goals
• Analyze market demand and available resources
• Review, approve, or modify product designs
• Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts
• Negotiate research contracts
• Approve expenditures
• Review and recommend contracts
• Develop cost estimates
• Draft proposals and reports for clients
• Improve manufacturing processes and advance scientific research
• Develop overall concepts for a new product
• Check technical accuracy of work
• Establish administrative policies, procedures and standards
• Coordinate activities of unit with other units or organizations
• Confer with higher levels of management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years working in manufacturing highly preferred
• Minimum 5 years management experience, with technical leadership skills for problem solving and conflict resolution
• Extensive knowledge of engineering practices and principles as well as understanding scientific methods of problem solving
• Demonstrated ability with cost analysis, product design methods, interpersonal skills and the ability to integrate all of these skills to a productive cost-effective result
• Must be competent with CAD systems, DFA, DFM, FMEA, DOE, and FEA
• Must be proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
• Excellent program and project management skills with strong document management
• Excellent analytical skills including the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, process, change and improve design and equipment
• Familiar with legislative requirements and automotive OEM procedures (domestic and transplants)
• Strong presentation, written and verbal English or Korean skills
• Able to communicate ideas and recommendations to non-engineer team members in a clear manner
• Able to manage multiple projects and tasks
• Able to work effectively with internal and external customers and suppliers
• Professional/mature demeanour under stressful conditions
