What you’ll do

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for safe working practices both personally and in their designs, using the Worley framework.
• Technical Integrity – take responsibility for the technical integrity of the team, addressing working methods, tools, quality assurance, peer reviews, communication with team members on other projects.
• Work Planning – plan and assign workload equitably to the team members. Forecast and initiate workshare and/or recruitment as required.
• Leadership – provide strong leadership to the team
• Team Management – steward the L&D function, manage career and succession planning in the group, manage team performance, provide input to remuneration setting & review processes, team building, communication.
• Administration – monitor non-billable time booked by team, approve various requests raised by team members

About You:

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in engineering 
• Prior experience as an Engineering Manager.
• Prior experience in the mining or resources industry.
• Working knowledge of multi-discipline engineering and design processes as found in Metals and Minerals projects
• Sound knowledge of multi-discipline design methods and inter-discipline dependencies & information flows
• Broad understanding of the engineering scene in Indonesia
• Have the experience and skills to set the standard and drive the rest of the team to excel in HSE
