Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the business. In 2025, our planned production is 5,703 kg of Gold and 10,010 tonnes of copper.

Reporting to the Superintendent – Mining Improvement, the Engineer – Mining Fleet Dispatch is responsible for overseeing the Mining Operational Technologies (MOT) at the Sepon Mine Operations Centre. You will use these technologies every shift to achieve and surpass production goals. Your primary focus is on maximizing the efficiency of all mining assets and fleets to ensure they exceed planned productivity rates. You will also act as the key liaison between the MOT, production, and support teams to drive overall efficiency and collect detailed, accurate data.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure all fleets are maintained with proper delay/down/operational statuses.
• Monitor production metrics and immediately report any variances to the Mine Operations (Open Pit and Underground) Supervisor, so corrective action can be taken immediately.
• Act as the central point of contact for all pit activities, communicating with equipment operators, Pit Supervisors, and the Mine Supervisors.
• Ensure all loading equipment is correctly positioned within designated mining blocks and benches and that these units are operating as planned.
• Ensure all drilling and ancillary equipment operate according to plan.
• Ensure all hauling units go to the correct destinations and follow their assigned loading plans.
• Maintain and monitor the mine model to address any issues with roads, waypoints, destinations, or sinks.
• Coordinate with mobile maintenance to confirm the status of equipment and any delays.
• Complete a daily shift lineup and assign crew and equipment to conduct tasks to safely achieve mine production goals.
• Monitor crew activity during each shift to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Analyze and report on mining shift performance.
• Supervise and control Fleet Controllers to ensure all fleets follow their assignments.
• Work with operational and support teams including mine planners, geologists, engineers and production teams to identify opportunities for improvement.

 Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or an equivalent degree.
• Strong English and Lao for communication and advanced computer skills.
• At least 3 years of experience in the mining industry.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Fleet Management Systems are strongly preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience is desirable.
• Hold a valid driver’s license (Class B).
• Highly self-motivated and passionate about technology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
