We’re Hiring an Electrical Technician!

Join our team at the Banggai Ammonia Plant, Luwuk, and take part in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of critical electrical systems in a world-class Ammonia production facility. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for executing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities in accordance with industry best practices and safety standards. If you have strong technical skills and experience in the petrochemical or Ammonia industry — we want to hear from you!

Job Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a Petrochemical or Ammonia Plant

• Solid understanding of KBR Ammonia plant technology and related electrical systems

• Strong hands-on experience in:

  • Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of LV and MV systems

  • Electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, switchgears, circuit breakers, relays, and control panels

  • Cable laying, termination, and glanding

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance procedures

• Good understanding of electrical safety standards and safe work practices

• Familiar with CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo) and maintenance documentation

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Willing to work on-site at Banggai Ammonia Plant, Luwuk with roster system

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

• Troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operation

• Assist in the inspection and testing of electrical installations in compliance with industry and plant standards

• Support electrical work during plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency repairs

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures, especially in hazardous areas

• Collaborate with other maintenance teams (instrumentation, mechanical, etc.) to support overall plant reliability

• Maintain proper records of all electrical activities through CMMS

• Report and escalate any abnormal conditions, safety concerns, or required improvements
