Qualifications & experience

• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related
• Able to read and interpret SLD and Electrical Line Drawings
• Having hands-on experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, ideally in Hydropower or any other power plant construction in Indonesia
• Experience in the design of electrical equipment in power plants (MV Switchgear, Transformer, PLC/Control System)
• Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills.
• Tough, confident, and self-motivated
• High attention to details
• Honest and loyal personality
• Fluent in English both verbal and written, (German would be an advantage)
• Able to work independently in the field without supervision

Tasks & responsibilities

• Installation and testing of all electrical equipment including cable connections, sequence testing, etc… according to our company standards
• Assist in coordinating electrical project tasks with customer and project manager
• Define, conceptualize and engineering of electrical equipment (MV, transformers, balance of plant)
• Review drawings from internal project teams and vendors before installation
• Make ITP, method statements and procedures for electrical equipment
• Familiar with IEC, IEEE, SNI and SPLN Standards
• Defining interface, time plans, and responsibilities of electrical supervision and installation team
• Site visits
