Job Description :

  • Drive process improvements by developing a Quality Management (QM) matrix to analyse quality performance in relation to machine performance and 5M principles.
  • Identify and eliminate recurring claims (internal and external).
  • Lead customer complaint investigations, ensuring timely and detailed reporting.
  • Oversee process validation of Quality Product Protective Equipment (PPE) such as cameras, thickness gauges, and sensors.
  • Conduct quality data analysis, maintain KPI dashboards, and evaluate review effectiveness through Sum-up assessments.
  • Perform Continuous Improvement pillar 
  • Develop Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems and implement real-time quality control measures.
  • Supervise and guide shift leaders to ensure optimal performance in quality monitoring tasks, including I-QP shift audits.
  • Provide innovative and effective solutions to product quality issues, making well-informed decisions based on thorough analysis of quality concerns during shifts.
  • Collaborate closely with the Cell Manager and QA Manager to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Communicate effectively with the Quality Supervisor regarding daily line quality concerns.
  • Continuously drive daily improvements related to quality standards and processes.

Requirements :

  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant work experience in similar industries, with a solid understanding of slitting equipment.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance or related roles.
  • Demonstrates the ability to handle exceptions effectively and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Strong skills in data collection and analysis.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Proficient in computer literacy, database management, and time management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to adhering to quality standards.
