About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our team located in the stunning Maratua East Kalimantan. As the Dive Resort Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dive resort, ensuring seamless guest experiences and the efficient management of all resort activities.

This full-time position will see you working closely with our talented team to uphold the highest standards of hospitality and service, while also driving strategic initiatives to enhance the resort’s offerings and reputation within the industry.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage and oversee all resort operations, including accommodation, food and beverage, recreational activities, and guest services

• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through the delivery of personalised and attentive service

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue, optimise efficiency, and maintain the resort’s competitive edge

• Manage and mentor a team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the resort’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure

• Liaise with local authorities, partners, and suppliers to maintain compliance and build strong relationships

• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies

• Represent the resort at industry events and contribute to the development of the local tourism sector

What we’re looking for

• Extensive experience in resort or hotel management, preferably in the hospitality and tourism industry

• Proven track record of driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial performance

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders

• Proficient in budgeting, financial management, and data analysis to support decision-making

• Familiarity with the dive tourism industry and experience in managing dive operations would be highly advantageous

• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
