About the Role

Selong Selo Resort & Residences, a premier luxury destination in South Lombok, is seeking an experienced and visionary Marketing Director to lead the resort’s branding, communications, and marketing strategy.

This key leadership role is responsible for driving the resort’s market positioning, elevating brand visibility, and generating demand across global and regional markets. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong creative instincts and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, digital marketing, and experiential branding.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

·       Develop and implement an integrated marketing and communications strategy that strengthens Selong Selo’s brand identity and market share.

·       Lead the planning and execution of annual marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with the resort’s business objectives and revenue targets.

·       Identify market trends, consumer insights, and emerging opportunities to guide strategic decisions and drive innovation.

·       Collaborate with the Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and consistent guest experience across all touchpoints.

Brand & Creative Management

·       Uphold and evolve the resort’s brand narrative, ensuring all creative assets, content, and materials reflect its luxury positioning and values.

·       Oversee the production of visual and written marketing materials, including photography, video, digital content, and printed collateral.

·       Manage relationships with creative agencies, PR partners, and media representatives to deliver high-impact campaigns.

Digital Marketing & Communications

·       Oversee all digital channels, including the resort website, social media platforms, email marketing, and paid advertising campaigns.

·       Drive engagement and conversions through targeted content, SEO, SEM, and data-driven performance optimization.

·       Lead public relations efforts, media outreach, and influencer collaborations to enhance global visibility and reputation.

·       Manage crisis communications in coordination with senior management, ensuring timely and effective brand responses.

Commercial Collaboration

·       Partner with the Sales and Revenue teams to develop promotions, packages, and initiatives that stimulate bookings and brand loyalty.

·       Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI and market penetration.

·       Provide strategic insights and monthly reports to the General Manager and Executive Committee.

Qualifications & Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

·       Minimum 7–10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally within luxury hospitality or premium lifestyle brands.

·       Proven success in brand management, digital strategy, and integrated campaign development.

·       Strong understanding of luxury consumer behaviour and destination marketing.

·       Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

·       Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.

·       Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages an advantage.
