Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and enhancement of a proprietary question recommendation system, optimizing for improved user engagement.
• Overseeing the upkeep and refinement of a robust search engine system, employing image to text conversion, natural language processing, and advanced searching functionalities for efficient database querying.
• Ensuring the consistent performance and scalability of a psychometrics scoring system for online-based tests.
• Integration of various question recommendation algorithms for enhancing the effectiveness of personalized question recommendations.
• Creation, development, and maintenance of predictive models for various business objectives, including customer retention, user segmentation, marketing campaign efficacy, and entrance probability prediction. 
• Implementing and maintaining digital customer service functionalities, utilizing state-of-the-art language processing models. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or other quantitative fields
• Min experience as Data Scientist 2-3 years
• Solid background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data modeling. Able to design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models effectively.
• Strong software engineering skills with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Demonstrated experience with data modeling techniques and database design to effectively manage and analyze large volumes of data.
• Experience in creating scalable and secure APIs for data access and manipulation.
• Experience in creating and managing schedulers for efficient and effective task management.
• Familiarity with managing and optimizing cloud resources and functions for computational tasks.
• Knowledge of database querying and management. Able to design, create, and manage databases effectively.
• Experience with automated machine learning platforms for model development, training, and deployment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of breaking down complex problems and making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex findings in a clear and understandable manner to diverse audiences.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in the education technology (EdTech) industry.
• Demonstrated ability in working with large-scale systems and data architectures.
• Proven track record in building predictive models and using data to drive business outcomes.
• Mastering the following: Python, R, BigQuery, AWS Sagemaker, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, GCP deployment tools.
