Creative Designer urgently needed
Key responsibilities and tasks
– Develop concept designs and ensure that they are following given brief and are cost-effective, manufacturable and functional by working closely with Design Engineers and Key Account Managers.
– As part of the creative team, to share ideas and suggestions, to take on the ideas of others and develop a centre of creative excellence.
– Use chosen software packages to produce professional high-quality and eye-catching presentations within the company guidelines.
– Secure the delivery process, together with sales and support team by planning, supervise and follow up and if necessary involve responsible Managers in the process – Summarize, analyze and evaluate finished projects – documentation.
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign eg. (Adobe® Creative Suite® 5.5 Master Collection, Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium). Good knowledge of 3D Studio Max + V Ray,
Microsoft Office.
Education University degree or Diploma.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Practical experience Minimum of 2 – 3 years relevant working experience with proven record of developing design concepts for major accounts using above software.
Proven experience of producing cost effective creative solutions in line with customer expectations within Retail and Brands POS sectors.
Proficient at sketching quickly and communicating ideas effectively.
Thorough understanding of materials; potential applications, manufacturing methods, relative costs and environmental impact.
Working knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes.
Experience and awareness of the customer relationship and whole project process, not just the design phase.
Personal qualities Achievement motivated – ambitious, energetic and dedicated to achieve results.
Emotional stability – ability to operate within a highly dynamic, fast growing company in a competitive working environment, ability to handle pressure.
Good time management.
Effective communicator, able to present ideas with clarity and confidence.
Positive approach to lateral thinking, provide innovative solutions to design challenges.
Ability to take ownership and responsibility for designs.
Self-motivated – does not need constant supervision to stay productive.
Ability to work within team and independently as required. Highly motivated with good interpersonal skills to benefit the whole team, particularly during pressured periods.
Good attention to details.
Administrative skills –ability to establish systems and routines that ensure efficient work and high quality.
