Job Title: Country Head People and Culture

Location: Tangerang, Banten

We’re seeking a Head of the People and Culture (PAC) Department to lead our HR efforts and ensure alignment with our company’s objectives.

Role Summary:
As the Country Head of the PAC Department, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our HR team fulfills its core responsibilities. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing AirAsia’s brand image, promoting our unique organizational culture, and upholding transparency and good governance. Your role will be critical in developing talent and enhancing our staff’s capabilities through appropriate training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Alignment:
   – Lead and monitor HR operational activities and policies to align with PAC’s strategic goals and enhance the company’s objectives.

2. Culture Promotion:
   – Strengthen AirAsia’s brand image and foster customer advocacy.
   – Promote and nurture AirAsia’s culture within the organization.

3. Governance and Compliance:
   – Ensure transparency and promote good governance practices within the company.

4. Talent Development:
   – Develop and enhance the capabilities of our staff through comprehensive training programs.
   – Ensure all staff receive appropriate training to excel in their roles.

Functional Duties:

1. Manpower Planning:
   – Oversee the fulfillment of manpower planning in line with qualifications and numbers.
   – Maintain an updated organization chart that meets organizational expectations and encourages employee productivity.

2. Documentation and Salary Management:
   – Maintain up-to-date job descriptions.
   – Prepare and maintain salary budgets and structures through job evaluations and salary surveys.
   – Assess and recommend new employee benefits programs.

3. Performance Management:
   – Coordinate, plan, and monitor the performance management system to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.

4. Policy Development:
   – Prepare, update, and recommend human resource policies and procedures.
   – Make final decisions within the PAC Department as needed.

5. Talent Management:
   – Monitor Talent Management programs to ensure the availability of future leaders and increase employee engagement.

6. HR System and Compliance:
   – Develop and maintain a human resources system that meets top management’s information needs.
   – Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and ensure compliance.

7. Employee Relations:
   – Advise the People’s Management team on the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
   – Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

8. Salary Administration:
   – Coordinate the salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.

Role Duties:

1. Annual Planning and Budgeting:
   – Develop annual plans and budgets for the sub-department, ensuring alignment with department-wide strategies.
   – Ensure adherence to approved budgets.

2. SOP Development:
   – Lead the development and amendment of SOPs to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

3. Performance Tracking and Improvement:
   – Monitor operating progress and results against annual plans and KPIs to ensure targets are met.
   – Develop action plans as needed to drive continuous improvement.

4. Innovation Initiatives:
   – Lead the identification of innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
