The Instrumentation Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all instrumentation maintenance activities within the Process Plant to ensure reliable and safe operation of control systems and instruments. This role involves managing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position also requires close collaboration with operations and other maintenance teams to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee instrumentation maintenance activities in the process plant.

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for instrumentation and control systems.

• Ensure proper calibration and functionality of instruments according to industry standards.

• Diagnose and resolve instrumentation and control system issues promptly.

• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all maintenance activities.

• Supervise and guide instrumentation technicians, including task allocation and performance monitoring.

• Prepare maintenance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support continuous plant reliability.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in instrumentation and control maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or coordination role.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, level) and control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA).

  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation standards.

  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and calibration of instruments.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Other Requirements:

  • Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements.

  • Willingness to work in a process plant environment and adapt to shift schedules if necessary.
