Job Description: Contracting Supervisor

Position Summary:
As a Contracting Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, leading the contracting team, and ensuring the organization secures competitive rates and high-quality offerings from partners. Your expertise in supplier negotiations and team management will drive business success, while your commitment to sustainability will help align supplier practices with the company’s values. You’ll collaborate with contracting Manager, across departments, support product development, and maintain efficient systems to enhance client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Build and nurture relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term collaboration and mutual growth.
• Lead and manage the contracting team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Negotiate supplier contracts to secure the best rates, credit terms, and quality services, ensuring competitiveness through regular product and market analysis.
• Oversee preferred tour products and hotel partnerships, leveraging client and internal feedback to optimize offerings.
• Maintain up-to-date supplier information in company systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Relay critical supplier updates—such as special offers, promotions, or operational changes—to the sales team promptly.
• Coordinate special projects, including annual tariff updates, customized requests, and new initiatives.
• Conduct product research and development, contributing to creative and innovative offerings.
• Champion sustainability, communicating company policies and promoting sustainable practices among suppliers.
• Collaborate with the Creative Team to develop and enhance unique products.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in hotel contracting or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices and standards in the tourism industry.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in managing systems and processes for contract and product updates.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
