The position will have a primary responsibility in contract administration activities of EPC for sewage treatment development project at Duri kosamb, West Jakarta, Indonesia. The activities include claims, variation, subcontracts, invoices and change control. The position is also required to support Project Management Team such as Project Manager/ Deputy Project Manager/Project Controller for their activities and supervise document controllers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Liaising with the project management team and negotiating with Employer (Government Organization), Engineer (Consultant), other partners and subcontractors under contractual conditions (FIDIC) including claims and variation

2. Analyzing contract and subcontracts and identifying risks and opportunities and prepare contract addendum and subcontracts.

3. Developing claim strategies collaboratively with the project team (management and staff) and prepare claim letters/documents with other members.

4. Advising project management team on all aspects of deviations between contract and subcontract conditions and actual executions

5. Drafting contract and subcontract documents, notices, or claim letters with accurate references to the contract and subcontracts clauses

6. Reporting to the team in Overseas Headquarter frequently and developing claim strategies collaboratively

7. Arrangement of meetings and preparing presentation material and minutes of meetings for the Employer, Engineer, JO members, Subcontractors and other parties, also interpretation for the PM and other non-Indonesian speakers

8. Supporting the other members for invoices and change control including developing the procedures

9. Ensuring that contractual documents are recorded physically and digitally

10. To lead insurance claim process for recovering a damage falling under the policy

11. Prepare monthly progress reports (some parts) and presentation slides for internal and/ or external use

12. Supervising Document control team with Project controller

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Fluent business level of verbal and written communication skills in English

2. Ability to effectively interact with others and need high coordination ability

3. Knowledge of major aspects of Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC), project controls and financials

4. Extensive knowledge of FIDIC, international construction projects and Indonesian laws

5. Strong drafting skills of contractual claim notices and letters in English and Indonesian

6. Minimum undergraduate degree from accredited college or university in relevant discipline

7. Over 5- year-experience relevant working experience

8. Familiarity with Microsoft office software

9. Preferable Working experience of foreign company (Japanese, Korean etc.) and ODA project

10. Strong personality, positive attitude and ability to work efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines
