POSITION OBJECTIVE

Assisting Quality Manager in organizing, controlling, and maintaining Continuous Improvement Projects such as promoting waste reduction, implementing, and sustaining the 5S program, raising waste awareness, establishing error-proofing measures, and optimizing our maintenance program to ensure consistent and high-quality production in line with Food Safety Management System.

POSITION DUTIES

1. 5S Program Improvement: Support in planning, implementation, and ongoing management of the 5S program to improve workplace organization, cleanliness, and safety. Collaborate with teams to ensure the systematic organization of tools, materials, and equipment for streamlined operations.
2. Waste Awareness Promotion: Develop and execute strategies to raise awareness about waste reduction and resource optimization. Identify areas of waste in processes and propose effective solutions to minimize waste generation and maximize resource utilization.
3. Error-Proofing Implementation: Identify potential points of errors or defects in production and service processes. Implement error-proofing techniques such as visual controls, standard operating procedures, and mistake-proofing devices to prevent errors and ensure consistent quality.
4. Effective Maintenance Program: Design and implement a maintenance program that minimizes downtime and maximizes the lifespan of equipment and machinery. Collaborate with maintenance teams to establish preventive maintenance schedules and protocols for optimal equipment performance.
5. Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyze existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.
6. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to educate employees on continuous improvement methodologies, waste reduction techniques, and error-proofing practices. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement throughout the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE 

• Education background from reputable university with Major in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Pulp & Paper) at least S1.
• Working experience at least 7 years with last position at least as Supervisor or Senior Supervisor from multinational company
• Preferred experience in these areas :
• Lean Manufacturing
• Operational Excellent

• Process Improvement Engineer
• Industrial Engineering
• Manufacturing Excellent
• Possess good communication and presentation skill.
• Computer Literate : Microsoft especially expert in excel
• Other software like CAD, AI
• Can work under pressure & target oriented
• Good Personality & Attitude
• English is a must
