Position: Continuous Improvement Engineer Staff
Work Location: Cikupa, Kabupaten Tangerang.

Job Requirements:s

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another related field

• Have a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment. 

• In-depth understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S, VSM, Kanban, Poka-Yoke)

• Strong data analysis skills using software such as Microsoft Excel (advanced) or any tools

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with people at all levels.

• Leadership and facilitation skills to lead teams and workshops.

• Change Management: Ability to manage resistance to change and drive the adoption of new processes.

• Proactive, self-directed, and results-oriented.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process Analysis & Opportunity Identification: Conduct direct observations on the production floor (Gemba walks) to understand workflows, identify inefficiencies, and discover potential improvements. Analyze production data (such as OEE, scrap rate, cycle time, downtime) to pinpoint problem areas and negative trends. Lead or facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM) sessions to map current state processes and design more efficient future state conditions.

• Improvement Project Management: Lead improvement projects from inception to completion using frameworks like DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) or PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act). Form and lead cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics) to execute improvement projects. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and meet their targets.

• Lean & Six Sigma Implementation: Serve as the primary expert and facilitator for Lean tools, including Kaizen, 5S, Standardized Work, and Poka-Yoke. Apply statistical tools and Six Sigma methodologies to analyze root causes and reduce process variability. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure that new or modified process designs incorporate Lean principles.

• CI Culture Training & Development: Develop and deliver training to employees at all levels on the fundamental concepts of Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement tools. Coach and mentor teams or individuals in carrying out their improvement initiatives. Actively promote and cultivate a continuous improvement mindset throughout the factory.

• Performance Measurement & Reporting: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each improvement project and track its progress. Validate project outcomes and calculate the cost savings or efficiency gains achieved. Create and present project progress reports to management regularly.
