We are seeking a passionate Compliance Officer to ensure regulatory adherence, mitigate risk, and foster a culture of compliance. How you will make an impact in this role

As a Compliance Officer at Trusting Social, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the organization operates in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures. This role involves developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting internal audits, and providing guidance to management and employees on compliance matters. The Compliance Officer works to prevent violations and mitigate compliance risks across all areas of the organization.

The Compliance Officer will report to and assist the Legal & Compliance Manager.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and manage an effective compliance program.
• Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to assess compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Liase with related parties, Association, Regulator, 
• Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues, including violations and breaches.
• Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and ensure that the organization adapts its practices accordingly.
• Collaborate with management to develop and update compliance policies and procedures.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies as required.

What you need to have 

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field.
• Proven work experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Hardworking and enthusiastic attitude.
• Fluent in English, good interpersonal and people management skills.

Preferred 

• Proven experience in developing and managing compliance programs.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) are a plus.
