What you’ll be doing day to day:

• Lead by example and be a good ambassador for the IKEA store. Ensure our guests are always in focus and strive to make them smile by showing empathy and care. Willing to listen and support them with an attitude based on IKEA values so our guests will have a great shopping experience at all times.
• Together with your co-worker and manager contribute actively in the development and implementation of a clear IKEA Food action plan using the store business plan and country business plan. Further, to develop and execute an annual action plan for the IKEA Food area based on agreed goals.
• In cooperation with the Human Resources (HR) department, I recruit your team based on the IKEA Values, committed to the development of your team by securing their training, and develop successors to ensure I meet the succession needs of the IKEA store.
• Working actively to make the IKEA store successful by attracting visitors, achieving sales growth and reasonable profitability, ensuring the satisfaction of guests and co-workers, and excellent operational performance as measured through our defined KPIs, you will utilize relevant reporting tools and challenge costs by working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way.
• Working together with the Kitchen Production Manager in operating your area according to the IKEA Food Quality and Food Safety requirements, as well as other relevant legislation. Promote a “safety first” culture where co-workers are encouraged to raise and discuss concerns and solutions. Implement and ensure that HACCP plans are in place and followed in all daily work.

We want you to be a person who:

• Experience of using commercial opportunities to attract visitors, preferably experience of marketing and activity planning.
• Have proven of managing/leading and developing a team, preferably gained in food service/hospitality environment.
• Enjoy of serving guests, preferably gained in hospitality industry.
• Experience of creating long-term action plans and budgeting plans and following up on goals. Proven record of the meeting agreed goals.
• As you work in a store, you will be working in a mixture of days and placed in Jakarta Timur.
