OBJECTIVE: To lead and manage the commercial and operational support aspects of the business in order to ensure sound operational financial control, efficient and effective procurement, supply and logistics support and embed a cost-control and performance analysis ethos in the company delivering best possible commercial and financial outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Oversee the finance function in PT Indodrill Indonesia to ensure high standards of governance and compliance, sound management of financial risks in accounts payable and receivable and balance sheet exposures, reduce debts and maximise revenues from operations

• Review and manage commercial aspects of all major business contracts, for operational drilling, financing, supply agreements, and major business support contracts including rentals, leasing and major operational costs

• Develop and implement reliable and cost-effective business management systems and processes that assist with cost and revenue management, enhance business performance measurement, monitory and analysis and assist with top management business decision making

• Oversee the logistics function with the aim of enhancing reliability and timeliness of supply to operations and maintenance functions, reducing cost of the procurement cycle including inventory holding, reducing inventory through sound inventory management, management of key supplier relationships

• Leadership and management of financial, logistics and business analysis teams personnel with a view to upskilling and enhancement of individual capability and value-add to the business

• Assist the CEO and GM Operations Asia with capable and reliable finance, supply & logistics and analysis team performance and simplifying approval and management processes to reduce time and resources spent on administration to allow enhanced overall business performance.

• Business degree in finance or logistics or related fields

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia

• Formidable skills in MS office tools, expert in ERP systems operations and improvement

• An excellent communicator in written and spoken word

• An accomplished leader and motivator of people to achieve shared objectives and common goals

• Excellent inter-personal skills

• Able to work with a diverse business team, including multiple nationalities, languages, customs and gender

• Interested in understanding, complying with and enhancing business process, policy and procedures

• Handles difficult and complex issues with consideration and care and will seek assistance and guidance when needed

• Exposure to mining, mining services and related industries in management roles
