Inspired by the five Indonesians who believed in a healthy way of life through high quality food, PT Agriculture Construction Company Limited, also known as Agricon was established in 1969. Indonesia is the world’s fourth most populous nation and agriculture plays a major role in people’s lives and earning potential. It was Agricon that accepted the challenge of increasing the quality and quantity of crops for Indonesian farmers and in doing so quickly learned that a sound understanding and knowledge of farming and the needs of farmers was essential for success. Agricon is committed to helping each farmer to plant and grow their crops fruitfully by offering them guidance and advice on the right sort of pesticides to use and then how to use them effectively. From rice and corn to fruit and vegetables, Agricon has solutions and answers to make yields more productive without adverse effects on the environment. It has been a long journey to get to this point in Agricon’s history but we are now one of Indonesia leading agriculture companies. We began as an importer and distributor of agrochemical products from one of the world’s leading chemical companies based in Britain. As time went by, the relationship and trust between the two companies grew stronger. On in April 1994, Agricon built a pesticide plant in Gunung Putri, West Java. This was a pivotal point in the company’s development and from this time Agricon took the lead, not only in pesticide distribution, but also in manufacturing on a nationwide scale. It was a historic turning point; the birth of a new era and Agricon took control of the management of the entire operation by itself. This was proof to all competitors that this dynamic new company was more capable and forward thinking than the old one. With a new strategic business plan and support from highly skilled professionals, Agricon has been able to set the highest of standards and we continue to exceed all expectations and targets. Today, our products include herbicides, fungicides and insecticides and we have branches strategically located across the vast archipelago of Indonesia. Our business affiliates are all over the world and cover United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, Taiwan and Malaysia. We are innovative, practical and dynamic.
