About the role

We are seeking a talented CNC Assistant Technician to join our team at PT Dynacast Indonesia (Batam). In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the operation and maintenance of our state-of-the CNC machinery, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist in the day-to-day operation and monitoring of CNC machines, ensuring efficient and reliable performance

• Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs

• Support the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize machine uptime

• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements for CNC operations

• Maintain detailed records of machine performance, maintenance activities, and inventory of spare parts

• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior technicians to develop their CNC expertise

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a CNC technician or assistant technician role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, manuals, and specifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve machine issues

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and advancements in CNC machinery

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
