Duties

CLO Surabaya provides daily services to approximately 207 community members, this includes 15 USDH, 168 FSNs and 24 family members. US Consulate Surabaya and CA Bali are under one district coverage; thus, the CLO office also provides direct support to two U.S Diplomatic Missions. The Administrative Assistant provides support to the Community Liaison Office.

The incumbent assists one community liaison office coordinators in developing and maintaining key contacts and managing information that benefits the morale and welfare of post Surabaya. Actively engages in the areas of CLO responsibilities, event planning, community liaison, welcome and orientation, guidance and referral, information & resource management, and Education Liaison, Welcome and orientation, guidance and referral, information & resources management, and education liaison.

Qualifications and Evaluations

EXPERIENCE: 

Must have :

– Three years experiences of administrative & clerical works, customer service which include one year experience in travel arrangement and large-scale event coordination experience

– In-depth knowledge of Surabaya’s history/culture/customs

LANGUAGE:  Fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing, including the ability to translate in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required. THIS WILL BE TESTED

Benefits and Other Info

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Consulate General Surabaya, Indonesia may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
