About the role

PT. TRANSGLOBAL INDO MANDIRI’ is seeking an experienced and dedicated Civil Supervisor to join our team in Batam Kota, Riau Islands. As a Civil Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day construction operations, ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. This is a full-time position that will involve on-site supervision and management responsibilities.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards

• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or roadblocks

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimise workflows and resource allocation

• Provide on-site guidance and training to construction workers as needed

• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the construction process

• Assist with the preparation of progress reports, timesheets, and other project-related documentation

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications

• Proficient in coordinating and managing multiple construction teams and subcontractors

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with all stakeholders

• Familiarity with relevant construction regulations and industry best practices

• Willingness to work on-site and oversee construction activities
