As Civil Project Manager, you will be responsible to oversee and lead civil engineering works within the construction department, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This role requires a strong technical background and proven experience in the energy and natural resources industry.

Client Details

We are representing one of our client in Indonesia’s mining industry. They are currently looking for Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure development at their mining site.

Description

• Manage the full cycle of construction activities, including site infrastructure, earthworks, temporary facilities, civil works, and related scope-from planning through execution to handover
• Coordinate closely with internal teams across project management, engineering, procurement, and HSE to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
• Lead and supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to specifications, timelines, and safety standards
• Review and interpret construction drawings, method statements, and work packages to ensure accurate execution in the field
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain safety, quality, and schedule
• Enforce strict compliance with company HSE policies, site regulations, and applicable mining standards
• Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and updates
• Oversee quality inspections, commissioning processes, and final handover of infrastructure works

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in managing large-scale construction projects, ideally within the mining or heavy industrial sectors
• Proven leadership capabilities with strong site coordination and team management skills
• Solid technical understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical construction methods
• In-depth knowledge of mining project workflows and risk management practices
• Fluent in English
• Willing to work on rotational basis at site
