Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and proven working experience in civil engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of Engineering, Construction, Design, and visualizations software such as AutoCAD (2D), Sketchup (3D), Civil 3D or similar and Microsoft Office.
• Solid experience in Civil & Structural engineering preferably with prior experience in Resort Hotels & Villa Projects.
• In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, and related areas.
• Project management and supervision skills.
• License of professional engineer.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Willing to mobile and working overtime.

Job Description:

1. Together with the design and planning team develop Project Design Criteria and Specifications, ensuring Villa’s structural designs follow relevant codes, standards, and regulations, especially relating to the Indonesian Earthquake Codes.
2. Conduct reviews of existing structural detailed design drawings by 3rd party structural consultants, already completed for villas under construction and villas under design to verify compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards and to keep track of all the specifications of the material that’s in use.
3. Liaise effectively with external 3rd party Structural Consultants (who prepare the structural designs) to ensure the project requirements are met and any concerns are addressed promptly.
4. Work with Architects and MEP Engineer to overlay the structural detailed design drawings with the architectural and MEP detailed design drawings to make sure that there are no conflicts or issues.
5. Conduct periodic site inspections of construction activities to verify compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards. Participate in projects walkthroughs and provide reports of findings.
6. Work with QC team to review Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Test Procedures and other quality related documentation.
7. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary and to coordinate with Construction Team to review and give inputs on Method Statements.
8. Coordinate with the Site Team as they need to monitor the performance of materials and equipment, conducting tests and inspections as required.
9. Liaise effectively with stakeholders to ensure the project requirements are met and any concerns are addressed promptly.
10. Comply with guidelines and regulations, including permits and safety requirements, and deliver technical files and other necessary technical documentation as required.
