Job Description At Green Nirvana Resort, food and beverages is the source that fuel our customer in order for them for them to continue their activities in Maratua. It is also one of the crucial aspect to ensure customer are having a memorable experience when staying with Green Nirvana Resort. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible in preparing and executing dishes according to recipes developed.
Objectives of this Role

• Preparing and developing hot and cold dishes
• Delivering dishes based on recipe developed by the kitchen team
• Following food health and safety standard
• Creates and present the dishes in line with guest special dietary requirement
• Helps receive deliveries and tidies food items according to storage guidelines
• Is responsible for the high standard of the dishes prepared
• Help maintain kitchen and restaurant equipment in good condition
• Cleans and tidies the workplace following the supervisor’s instructions
• Avoid food waste by utilizing inventory management
• Helps manage stocks of equipment by avoiding breakages
• Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy, and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting HACCP regulations
• Report and accidents, injuries, and unsafe work condition to manager

Skills and Qualifications

• Be a responsible and honest person
• Communicates and writes with fluency in Indonesian and English (and local language) , able to communicates in other language is a plus
• Is self-driven, goal-oriented, willing to challenge the status quo
• Ability to stay calm while working under pressure and quick on making critical decision wisely
• Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 kilogram without assistance
• Proven success in a fast-paced environment, working with a team and individually
• Credential in health and safety training

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Culinary or related certificate
• Expertise in Asian and Indonesian Flavor
• Strong attention to detail and budgetary guidelines
• Strong organizational skills
