We are looking for a highly motivated Development and Learning Specialist with a particular focus on assessment and talent management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating learning programs tailored to our employee development needs. Additionally, they will play a critical role in identifying and developing talent within the organization through effective talent management strategies and solid assessment methodologies.

JOBDESC:

Learning Program Development

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including HoD and BU Head, to identify learning needs and objectives across various departments and levels within the organization
  • Design and develop comprehensive learning programs, including workshops, seminars, online courses, and other relevant training methods. 
  • Ensure alignment of learning initiatives with organizational goals and strategies

Training Delivery and Facilitation:

  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, both in person and virtually, to effectively transfer knowledge and skills to employees
  • Uses a variety of instructional techniques and methodologies to suit different learning styles and preferences
  • Monitor and evaluate training sessions to measure their effectiveness and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement

Talent Management:

  • Identify high potential employees and develop strategies to nurture their growth and advancement within the organization
  • Collaborate with HR and management teams to create career development plans and succession pipelines for key roles.

Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Develop and manage assessment tools toward fundamental, technical and leadership competency, performance evaluations, and 360-degree feedback mechanisms
  • Analyze assessment result to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement across the organization
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on assessment findings to formulate talent development initiatives and decision-making processes.

Learning Technology Integration:

  • Stay updated with emerging learning technologies and trends to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Learning and development programs.
  • Evaluate and implement learning management systems (LMS) and other digital tools to simplify training delivery, tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain Training Record Database system

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in learning and development, strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodology, and talent management best practices.
  • Good facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Expertise in assessment techniques and tools, including psychometric assessments and performance appraisal system
  • Familiar with learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
  • Excellence communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Certification in a relevant field such as instructional design, talent management, or assessment is a plus.
