POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a motivated Catalogue Engineer (Intern) to assist our catalogue engineering team in maintaining and updating product catalogues. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Inspection to Customer Job Site: Visit Customer / Job Site together with distributor or Sales Team to do the inspection of the heavy equipment and find what kind/type of hoses in that Equipment and then together with global team doing the conversion to the Gates Product. Convert to gates product can do by sales team as an optional. new product information into the catalogue database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
2. Training: Participate in training sessions to learn about Gates Product catalogue management best practices and software tools utilized by the team.
3. Catalogue Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of product catalogues by ensuring that all product information is accurate and up to date.
4. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure that all product data is consistent and error-free.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, such as product development and marketing, to gather necessary information for catalogue updates.
6. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of catalogue changes and updates for reference purposes.
7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the catalogue engineering workflow and contribute ideas for optimization.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, or related field.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience with catalogue management or data entry is a plus but not required.
• Willing to travel and work at clients’ site.

Duration: This is a 3 months (renewable) internship position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

Location: Jakarta/ Kalimantan
