Role Responsibilities

Job Summaries

Cash Operations Assistant Manager will be work together with CMO – Specialist Function Head in ensuring, monitoring and all the BAU activities are adherence operational risk. Actively participate in and support the Bank’s effort in combating money-laundering activities by ensuring compliance with the Group’s standards and regulatory requirements pertaining Money Laundering and KYC and exercise due care and diligence on matters related to that in day-to-day operations, transaction monitoring, reporting suspicion, implementing new requirements, provide support to superior and subordinate. Those mentioned points are in the working scope area: Pre-Processing activities, MIS & Administration, Regulatory & Group Reporting and Reconciliation Unit. 

Responsibilities

  • Assisting and monitoring all transaction and non- transactional around specialist function to reduce risk and improve controls.
  • Assisting and monitoring for Cash Operations, Indonesia cluster non transactional/ specialist functions and deliverables.
  • Ensure with deeply monitoring for the client experience is seamless based on efficient processing, timely resolution of client exceptions and is perceived as an enabler by the business to generate and retain client flows.
  • Assisting and monitoring in daily operational task that all transaction adherence of all controls as detailed and met the risk standard.
  • Support Cash Operations – Specialist Function, Indonesia cluster to streamline processes, enhance productivity, to reduce risk and improve controls.

Strategy

  • Responsible for handling in area of CMO – Specialist Functions, including Counter Operations, Supporting Documents & Regulatory, MIS and Administration, Contra Revenue, KPI reports for Indonesia cluster Operations on Strategy, Operating Model, Risk and Controls standards and compliance with regulations, and ensure business processes are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals, Risk and Controls standards and compliance with regulations, and ensure business processes are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.

Business

  • Ensure the client experience is seamless based on efficient processing, timely resolution of client exceptions and is perceived as an enabler by the business to generate and retain client flows
  • Clear understanding of operational policies, regulations and put risk awareness as the highest priority in doing BAU activities.
  • Responsible as an escalation point for operational or client issues into CMO – Specialist Function Head.

Processes

  • Ensure that processing and decision making as per the Departmental Operating Instructions manual and within the Timeliness and accuracy standards specified.
  • Continuous Improvement in TAT Productivity to the standards prescribed for the Processes from time to time.
  • Applying SCB value all the times.
  • Compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations of both In Country and Group Policies.
  • Participate in and support the Bank’s effort in combating money-laundering activities by ensuring compliance with the Group’s standards and regulatory requirements pertaining Money Laundering and KYC and exercise due care and diligence on matters related to that in day-to-day operations, transaction monitoring, reporting suspicion, implementing new requirements and provide support to superior and subordinate.
  • Able to support other operational function in Specialist Function within as back up.

  • To adhere strictly to any Bank Indonesia regulation especially relating to CMO – Specialist Function.
  • AML procedure to be complied with and all reporting as per Group requirement must be done within the agreed time frame.
  • Units must be in audit preparedness / ready at any point of time.
  • To identify and report all exception on non-compliance with standard controls. To identify and report all weakness inherent in the standard controls. Process risk review for the unit must be reviewed within the agreed time frame.
  • No reconciliation shortfall / backlog in Specialist Function area.

Governance

  • Escalation Policy to be complied with.
  • Having security awareness in working area.
  • No sharing password in system access to anyone.
  • Keeping customer data confidentiality.
  • Clean desk policy applied in daily activities

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
