Criteria

1.Education                         :  Minimum S-1 from Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field

2.Experience                       :  8–15 years of experience in oil & gas operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

3.Skills and Knowledge     :  

  • Proven expertise in handling critical plant equipment (e.g., compressors, turbines, rotating equipment, process units).

  • Strong knowledge of reliability engineering methods, RCA, and maintenance strategies.

  • High commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork, and adaptability

Job Description

 1.Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

a.     Investigate and resolve critical and complex equipment failures, process upsets, and reliability issues.

b.     Lead or participate in root cause analyses (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.

c.     Provide rapid response and expert advice during operational emergencies or unplanned shutdowns.

d.     Execute overhaul, major inspection, or campaign blitz activities

e.     Operate across multiple facilities based on campaign schedule (roving).

f.      Perform backlog reduction for delayed work orders.

g.     Carry out system cleaning campaigns.

h.     Execute revamp, relay out, or retrofitting projects.

i.      Support Turn Arounds with field manpower and work execution.

j.      Work based on work packs prepared by the engineering team.

k.     Implement findings from regular inspections (NDT, RBI, etc.).

l.      Provide technical feedback from the field to engineering.

m.   Support specialized equipment campaigns (e.g., static equipment).

n.     Work within a planned shutdown window

o.     Deliver tasks with clear time, target, and output orientation.

p.     Adapt to multi-discipline roles: mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc.

q.     Ensure reporting and documentation are completed per standards

 2. Technical Expertise

·       Perform in-depth technical assessments and develop solutions for unique maintenance challenges.

·       Advise asset teams on best practices, engineering solutions, and maintenance strategies.

·       Collaborate with OEMs, vendors, and engineering teams for highly specialized issues.

3.Reliability Improvement

·       Identify recurring failures and chronic issues, propose and execute reliability improvement plans.

·       Support the implementation of predictive maintenance and advanced monitoring technologies.

·       Evaluate maintenance history data to develop asset-specific reliability strategies.

·       To support on development of RBI and RCM dashboard indicator

 4.Support & Training

·       Mentor and train site-based operations and maintenance teams on advanced troubleshooting techniques.

·       Document learnings and share best practices across all assets to prevent recurrence.

 5.Coordination & Communication

·       Work closely with Production, Engineering, HSE, and Integrity teams to ensure holistic solutions.

·       Prepare technical reports, management briefings, and lessons learned documents.

·       Participate in risk assessments, Management of Change (MoC), and safety reviews related to complex interventions.
