Job description & requirements

Job Descriptions

Business Incubator Coaching:

  • Provide coaching for other coaches to implement coaching methodology system
  • Create coaching methodology system to accelerate students startup business learning process
  • Nurture, instruct and support the environment for entrepreneurs during the critical stages of starting up a new business
  • Maintain and support students in preparing the business, establish coordination with the other mentors and companies selected
  • Provide coaching and training services to students related to business development and progress
  • Provide technical and advisory support to students in business incubator program. Services include, but are not limited to business plans, marketing strategies, entrepreneurship curriculum, and day-to-day accelerator operations
  • Coordinate basic business counseling with students on an individual basis
  • Coordinate the delivery of services to students and to act as a catalyst to strengthen the support network 
  • Provide detailed information and knowledge sharing on business-related issues and on business management concepts and techniques (e.g., sharing on trials, approaches to and solutions for operating a successful business)

Business Incubator Program Monitoring:

  • Ensure the incubator program contains infrastructure, business support and access to networks. Ensure potential incubate survival, performance, and business sustainability
  • Coordinate and improve Incubator curriculum content development & delivery effectiveness
  • Follow a given timetable for every incubated wave and conduct feedback surveys every new cycle
  • Guarantee effective time completion and reduce the cost of establishing and growing its business

Partnership Activities:

  • Coordinate and enhance the international/national achievement from student’s entrepreneur
  • Coordinate and enhance the partnership with Industries & Universities especially in the entrepreneurial/ Incubator area
  • Liaise with faculties and other internal units within the university as well as external parties
  • Participate in other community business events

Evaluation and Improvement:

  • Evaluate the overall content in business incubator process and provide summaries of issues as well as concerns to direct supervisor 
  • Monitor and evaluate business performance by giving feedback to students and ensure business growth 
  • Provide input and improve business incubation process related to content and maintain its effectiveness 
  • Provide improvement to ensure related program content meets the goals and objectives of the content and instructional design standards

Management Support Activities:

  • Provide Report to direct Supervisor
  • Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)
  • Perform activities related to Quality Management System
  • Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor

Education Requirement: 

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree

Work Exposure/ Experience: 

  • Minimum 2 years in Senior Staff level position, or 
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience

Special Skill:

  • Coaching & Counseling Skill
  • Interpersonal Skill
  • Experience with startups, business incubators/accelerators 
  • Report writing skills 
  • Project Management fundamentals
