Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the events industry. Your success will be measured by your ability to grow our client base, secure new contracts, and help expand the company’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients and new business opportunities across various sectors in the events industry. Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to engage and attract new clients.
· Relationship Building: Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including event planners, sponsors, suppliers, and venue owners. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the business development process.
· Sales Strategy & Proposal Development: Create and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the needs of prospective clients. Work with the creative and operations teams to develop customized event solutions that meet client requirements.
· Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments. Conduct research to identify new market segments and business opportunities.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, operations, and creative teams to ensure seamless delivery of events. Provide feedback to enhance event offerings and services based on client insights and market demands.
· Revenue Growth & Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the management team. Develop strategies to drive consistent revenue growth through new and repeat business.
· Client Retention & Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and work to retain long-term relationships. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
· Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on business development activities, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts. Use data to refine strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in business development or sales within the events, hospitality, or related industries. Proven track record of acquiring new clients and achieving sales targets.
