Job Requirement

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in similar positions in the industrial project logistics sector.
• Good understanding of project logistics (international freight, land transportation, heavy lifting, heavy equipment, route survey, customs clearance) services.
• Good understanding of Indonesia’s geographical areas and the logistics challenges/ solutions
• Having a wide network of clients in industrial projects.
• Having organizational experience and skills, comfortable with meeting people

Responsibilities:

• The objective of the role is to develop the business/revenue in the industrial project sectors.
• This role focuses on finding, meeting, and communicating with Clients to sell Company’s services, understand their requirements/problems, and provide solutions to Clients. This also includes a review of existing services or contracts and try to upsell Company’s services to the existing accounts.
• In addition, the role is expected to attend exhibitions, workshops, and forums relevant to the sectors, as well as to attend jobsites occasionally.
• Furthermore, the role also needs to do market research to understand the business trend, the sector insights and update project leads.
• The role will also coordinate closely with the group BD team to come up with the strategy to develop the business as well as to target clients.
• This role is contracted to Jakarta office with frequent business travel to meet clients, visit jobsites and visit branches.

Business Development

1. To regularly meet with existing/ potential clients to introduce company’s services, understand their project pipeline, ensure Company will receive RFQ and to get feedback.
2. To review existing contracts/ services and to upsell company’s services to existing clients.
3. To attend workshops, exhibitions, and forums relevant to the sectors.
4. To work together with group office to prepare the strategy to develop the business/ sectors.
5. To work together with group office and Batam BD team to target clients strategically.

Commercial (by working together with the commercial team)

1. To receive inquiry and communication with client to understand the requirement
2. To lead the company’s registration as vendor to the clients.
3. To lead the pricing to ensure it meets clients’ requirements.
4. To oversee the tender preparation and submission

Market Intelligence

1. To check regularly for market situation and updates
2. To provide report of business trends, sector insights and project leads

Team Building

To build a winning team to support the development and growth of the business

Budget

1. To review the budget performance on monthly basis
2. To prepare the annual budget for next financial year

HSEQ

1. To ensure the ISO documentation compliant and completeness for BD/ Commercial
2. To follow Company’s HSEQ policy
