About the role

We’re on the lookout for an experienced and result-driven Business Development Manager to build upon our existing relationships, develop new channels and or expansion of business and grow our customer base and revenue within the Snack & Confectionary Category.

Responsibilities

• Mapping out growth plans, setting milestones and strategies for customer acquisition and revenue targets
• Identifying new business opportunities through effective prospecting and lead generation strategies.
• Creating and presenting dynamic proposals to prospective customers.
• Developing a strong, ongoing understanding of market trends, category developments, and competitor activity.
• Building upon and nurturing existing and new customers.
• Closely monitoring performance and provide regular reports and data to senior management
• Working closely with the sales team, warehouse, and logistic, and related support functions to ensure plans and strategies are well executed.
• Hitting monthly or quarterly target set out such as sales revenue, new customers, distribution expansion

Candidate requirements

Essential:

• 3+ years within a business development or sales role or key account management (Snack & Confectionary Category would be an advantage).
• Strong commercial awareness, sound judgment, and competent in business
• A good understanding of sales and distribution processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and relationship-building abilities

Job Descriptions:

• Develop Projects starting from consumer insight : manage Snack & Confectionary product selection, evaluation
• Prepare and present to the Committee : the new products profile, competitor’s profile, and its market data
• Develop project starting from consumer insight ; manage existing Snack & Confectionary product selection, evaluation
• Review the opportunities for developing new improved product within Snack & Confectionary business:
• Monitor new business development by leading in feasibility study up to implementation plans;
• Review and evaluate existing market potential ;
• Plan, propose and monitor own function’ s expenditures, report variance on implementation:
• Seek expansion potentiates within local market

 Job Requirements

• Have a background working in Sales and/or Business Development in Consumer Goods
• Must have minimum 3 years experiences as Business Development Manager in FMCG Industries, and total experience in Business Development minimum 5 years;
• First rate communication skills ; demonstrating confidence and able to listen and articulate in all communication.
• Good and strong relationship within organization and with external key influences leading to potential clients ( buyers from Modern Trade)
• Have ability to analyze data and information, be consistent , and have attention to detail.
• Independent , organized, self motivated, target driven , and have creativity.
• Adapt well to work in a dynamic and changing environment with enthusiasm.
• Hold a bachelor’s Degree (S1)
• Having excellent communication , interpersonal and presentation skill;
• Fluent in English ( oral & written)
