Looking for a Business Development Manager to be based in Jakarta. Responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the company in the logistics and supply chain industry.

Description

The candidate is responsible for leading and developing/growing business in Indonesia, including creating a vision and strategy for business growth that aligns with the strategy. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Identifying and evaluating potential clients and partners in the logistics and supply chain industry.
• Developing and implementing sales strategies and campaigns to target new business opportunities.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers, as well as with key stakeholders in the industry.
• Conducting market research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Collaborating with other teams within the company, such as operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure that business development activities align with overall company goals.
• Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients and partners, and ensuring that all deals are profitable and sustainable.

Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 6 years working experience in the Logistics sector
• Familiar with construction and management of large logistics, transportation, storage
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Fluency in English
• Strong business acumen
• Able to work under minimum supervision
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and developing long-term relationships with partners
