About the role

This role will be focused on Opportunities Generation by Segment Business Development activities in Segment with Key sales and business development of Industrial Lubrication Systems Products and Lubrication Management Solutions, Fire Suppression Systems, Flow Meters and Measuring Devices, Fuel Management Solutions, and Industrial Asset Management Solutions (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) into the Energy Segment.

The successful candidate will have/develop strong technical knowledge and a “Can-Do” attitude to learn and drive sales opportunities forward at a fast pace and high quality to win business and secure orders. 

Responsibilities:

  • Acquiring knowledge about Industry & its opportunities, keeping the knowledge updated by self-learning, participating in Industry Forums & interacting with customers, and sharing the knowledge with various functions within the organization.
  • Strategic Thinking, developing go-to-Market Strategy for every sub-Industry, Proactive activity planning, frequently carrying out customer visits and follow-up sales opportunities with messages, calls, emails, etc to key stakeholders.
  • Visiting plants & facilities of customers to acquire knowledge, information & data about customers’ processes, machines, and needs & developing value propositions for the customers using JSG’s Products & solutions.
  • Effective customer relationship management, Key Account Management & development
  • Site visits, discussions with customers at various levels, probing for customer needs for creating sales leads, and managing the opportunity funnel with suitable activities to WIN more business
  • Oversee and support projects and contract deliverables and account receivables collection
  • Operate inside the NetSuite ERP system related to the job role, keep the data inside NetSuite always updated & relevant & leverage it for Business Planning, Monitoring & analysis.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, technical proposals, quotations, tender responses, etc.
  • Participate in market, customer & competitor analysis studies
  • Drive marketing campaigns for various products and solutions to increase sales
  • Key customer event preparation and implementation- Road-shows, Seminars, Webinars, etc
  • Follow-up on customer satisfaction to drive improvement activities.
  • Develop customer success stories for replication.
  • Be an Industry Expert & act as an “Advisor” for Energy Segment, contributing actively to Information about Industry Segment-Energy in JSG Intranet & other sharing Platforms.
  • General administration, high ethics, and respectable work discipline

Requirements:

  • Worked with an OEM or End User OR EPC Consultant/Contractor for Energy Segment (Power, Petroleum & Petrochemicals & Port) in Indonesia and built up strong networks within the industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Processes, applications, machinery & problems within Power Plants, Petroleum Refinery, and Ports/ Fertilizer Industries necessary.
  • Experience and/or interest in working with Energy Segment customers/factories in the field of lubrication, hydraulics, and fire systems.
  • Good contacts & network of End customers are necessary, for example, PLN Plants, Pertamina Refineries, other private companies, etc
  • Strong business driver with a positive attitude to work smart and hard with a proven record to deliver results.
  • Knowledge of how to generate customer value and a to use this in a consultative sale approach
  • Good collaboration skills & professional communication (verbal, written) with key people at external customers on multiple levels of their organization (Engineering, Planning, Maintenance, Procurement, Management, etc.) as well as internal functions within JSG (Sales, Technical, Customer service, Supply Chain, Overseas colleagues, etc)
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and joint business development activities with key Partners/suppliers/principals
  • Strategic mindset, highly organized, disciplined, and committed to completing tasks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office and any CRM opportunity management system, ideally NetSuite. 
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia

Desirable Requirements:

Experience working at an international (preferable) or reputed Indonesian Energy Segment OEM, Consultant/ EPC Contractor in a function focused on strategic business development to offer various engineering products & solutions to customers.

Additional information:

Work location in Jakarta and supporting the Indonesian needs and potentially in the extension of all of the Southeast Asia markets.

Traveling to customer sites all over Indonesia: up to 50-60% of the time.
