Work you will do

Deloitte’s Global Energy Resources & Industrials (ER&I) professionals work with clients to help maximize business potential across the full spectrum of the industry. Our member firms’ global network engages with clients to refine their business models through innovative practices, improved processes and enabling information technologies.

This role sits within the SAP team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, which encompasses the SAP Module solutions respectively. As a leader of this group, you will drive the growth of our SAP business in the region and be responsible for the creation, sale and delivery of SAP solutions: Functional and Technical Design, SAP Application & Systems Development, SAP Business Transformation, etc.

The primary area of focus for the Business Development Role is to support the development and implementation of the firm’s strategy by delivering the following:

• Conduct research to identify new markets/propositions to meet client needs.
• Arrange, host, facilitate and follow up business meetings with prospective clients and Energy Industry partners.
• Promote Deloitte’s services and capabilities to develop joint propositions.
• Prepare Alliance Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Master Services Schedules and other contracts including Statements of Work to ensuring adherence to Deloitte Governance standards and regulatory compliance.
• Track sales, revenue, opportunities using Deloitte approved systems and tools;

You will also support our clients in their transformation journey by:

• Engage clients in workshops and interviews to analyze process and reporting requirements.
• Advise clients on Oil & Gas leading practices. Advise clients on SAP recommended processes and functions.
• Design target state SAP solutions for clients. Influence clients’ thinking in adopting leading/ standard practices while developing target state.
• Analyze application landscape to design interfaces to SAP solution.
• Perform SAP configuration and tests. Develop specifications for development of forms/ reports/ interfaces. 
• Lead the consultant and client teams through the implementation cycle including planning and execution of testing, migration and cutover. 
• Support change management execution by developing training material, delivering training and supporting users post cutover.
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

If you are someone with:

• A good honors Degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• Minimum 12- 15 years of experience in SAP related modules for the Oil and Gas Industry and involved in at least 5 end-to-end full life cycle of SAP implementations, including leading teams in such implementations.
• Passion in engaging clients and help them solve their business challenges.
• Experience/exposure as an SAP S/4 HANA solution architect.
• Demonstrated success in multi-cultural work environment.
• Sound understanding of business process, industry nuances and leading practices in area(s) of focus.
• Ability to facilitate effective workshops to lead target state design.
• Ability to lead teams.
• Demonstrated excellence in conceiving and executing SAP solution.
• Appreciation of digital enterprise and emerging technologies
• Sound business acumen, teamwork and leadership qualities.
• An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a pre-requisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
