We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Director who combines technical expertise with strong sales acumen to spearhead our market entry and expansion efforts in Indonesia. The role involves identifying potential partners, engaging with clients to provide tailored solutions, driving revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the area of industrial wastewater treatment.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with the team at headquarters in Singapore to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies, both technical and commercial aspects, tailored to the Indonesian market.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, especially in the petrochemical, palm oil, and food and beverage sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and regulatory requirements relevant to water and wastewater treatment.

Qualifications & Experiences required:
• Degree in Environmental / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience dealing with water treatment within petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas industry
• Proven experience in sales, business development, or proposal preparation within the water treatment or related industry.
• Strong commercial and business skill sets with a technical background required
• Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong networks of potential customer in different industry such as Petrochemical, Chemical, Electronics, F&B and etc
• Ability to travel and meet clients as necessary across Indonesia.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
