Role Overview

This is a pivotal, hands-on role for a resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities. As our first team member, you will be instrumental in managing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring the efficient handling of administrative, financial, compliance, and operational tasks. While the initial workload will be manageable, this role demands someone who is a self-starter, a quick learner, and capable of working independently to establish our operational processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage general company administration and office tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Handle basic bookkeeping, accurately record accounting entries, and maintain organized financial records.

  • Generate and manage sales invoices, and efficiently process employee expense claims.

  • Prepare and manage company payroll in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Coordinate and manage all necessary company operations and compliance requirements, including BPJS.

  • Conduct thorough research, prepare applications for, and manage import and export licenses and permits relevant to our trading activities.

  • Act as the primary point of contact with government agencies, including Customs, for all import and export procedures.

  • Proactively establish and nurture relationships with wholesale suppliers, including initial contact and negotiation of terms.

  • Manage customer inquiries effectively, handle communications with buyers for trading activities, and cultivate strong customer relations.

  • Coordinate all logistical aspects related to import and export shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

  • Prepare and submit accurate monthly income tax reports in compliance with regulations.

  • Identify and implement strategic process improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency.

  • Provide essential administrative support related to business consultation activities as required.

  • Undertake any other tasks necessary to ensure the seamless operation and strategic development of the company’s business.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Law, or a related field is considered a significant plus.

  • Fresh graduates with a strong drive and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.

  • A foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial administration is highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with Indonesian business regulations, particularly concerning import/export, company operations, BPJS, and taxation, is a significant advantage (training can be provided to build upon existing knowledge).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia are essential. Good to strong written and verbal proficiency in English is highly important for effective communication with international clients and suppliers.

  • Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) is required.

  • A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a genuine willingness to learn new skills quickly are crucial.

  • Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment where roles and responsibilities may evolve.

Salary
