About the role

PT. TRANSGLOBAL INDO MANDIRI’ is seeking a talented Building Facility Officer to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operations of our facilities in the Riau Islands region. Your expertise in civil/structural engineering will be crucial in ensuring the smooth running of our buildings and infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings, including conducting regular inspections and identifying any necessary repairs or upgrades

  2. Manage and coordinate the work of external contractors and service providers to ensure all facility maintenance is completed to a high standard

  3. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to proactively address potential issues

  4. Monitor and optimise the performance of building systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical

  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

  6. Provide technical support and advice to other departments on facility-related matters

  7. Maintain detailed records of all facility maintenance activities and costs

What we’re looking for

  1. Degree in civil/structural engineering or a related field

  2. Minimum 1 years’ experience in a building facilities management or maintenance role

  3. Strong technical knowledge of building systems and infrastructure

  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  6. Strong communication and customer service skills

  7. Proficient in using facility management software and tools
