About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of our Surabaya branch, playing a crucial role in the sales growth and success of our Forwarding business in East Java. As a full-time role based in Surabaya, you will be responsible for driving sales achievement, operational excellence, managing a team of professionals, and ensuring the seamless delivery of our services to our valued clients.

What you’ll be doing

Manage and oversee all day-to-day operations at the Surabaya branch, ensuring efficiency, productivity and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Provide leadership and direction to the branch team, motivating and developing staff to achieve their full potential for Sales achieve the target, Operation performs satisfaction service and Administration matters.
Develop and implement strategies to expand the client base and drive sales revenue growth as setup Branch sales target, enhance customer satisfaction.
Give excellent advice to Top Management for business expansion and maintain good profit.
Monitor branch performance, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Liaise with head office teams to ensure alignment and coordination across the organisation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.
Manage budgets, forecasts and reporting for the branch.

What we’re looking for

Maximum 42 years old, minimum 8 years of managerial experiences in Freight Forwarding is compulsory.
Excellent sales track record and wide networking especially big industrial company who deal Export Import.
Strong freight forwarding operation skills with the ability to lead Operation team (Air & Sea Freight)
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficient in using forwarding/logistics management software and IT systems
Thorough understanding of logistics processes, inventory management and supply chain operations
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, compliance requirements and safety standards
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation or a related field is preferred
